Pictured: The soon-to-be Chicago Eagle, Rockin’ the ‘Sweet on Lou’ T-shirt at Crew, One last dance with Chris at Berlin

Glamour was virtually dripping form the ceiling (at least I HOPE that was glamour) at the Park West for the Miss Continental pageant on Monday, August 31. Let’s all give a hand to our new Miss Continental Tulsi and Mr. Continental David ‘Freklz’ Hunter. I’m sure they’ll carry themselves with the class and comportment required of such a titleholder.

Mega-super sorries to Crew for spacing their 4th anniversary party last week. In order to make up for the faux pas, I made sure to stop in so I could help promote their spanking new ‘Sweet On Lou’ T-shirts. You can win one of these clever beauties at the conclusion of any of the remaining Cubs weekend games at Crew.

And as a Sox fan (not that that’s an easy lot in life lately), I hope they realize how much crow I’m eating on this one.

Farewell to the current incarnation of the Chicago Eagle. I stopped in for one last shot (OK, several) before the relocation to the old Clark’s on Clark space begins.

Here’s the real deal: the bar will open, complete with all the amenities you’ve come to know and love, PLUS a dance floor. A taste for every palate.

Thanks for coming to Berlin’s final installment of Prince night. I’m comfortable that you were there because the place was fucking packed by 11:30, which, as you may know, is quite odd for Berlin. It was one last chance to Housequake with Mr. Markus and the gang. Check out page 30 for a cool double-exposure moment chronicling Markus’ famed splits/dance solo during the video version of ‘America.’ It’s a Prince thing, you’d better understand.

I was on the search for yellow paraphernalia at water sports night at Touché. It was a golden opportunity. I was flushed with excitement.

Get it? If not, you’re, in eight seconds, gonna realize the joke.

Just don’t piss yourself laughing. Seriously, it’s not that funny.
