Proboscis Theatre has announced the cast and production team of the world premiere of The Queens of Infinite Space, written and directed by Founder/Co-Artistic Director Jeff Mills
The production will run Jan. 16-21 at Epiphany Center for the Arts, 201 S. Ashland Ave.
The cast includes Kamari Saxon (he/him), Tia Pinson (she/they), Charlotte Markle (she/her), Mike Dias (he/him), Amelia Hernandez (she/her), Ashlea Woodley (she/her), Nadia Pillay (she/her), Kim Logan (she/her) and Jeff Mills (he/him). The production team includes stage managers Diane Fidalgo (she/her) and Olivia Nathan (she/they), costume designer Lucy Elkin (she/her), lighting designer Kyle Bajor (he/him) and intimacy designer Courtney Abbott (she/they).
The Queens of Infinite Space follows William Shakespeare (Pinson) in 1603 as they attempt to write their next masterpiece in the wake of a massive public-health crisis.
Doors open at 6 p.m. CT, with a performance start time of 7:30 p.m. CT. The show is approximately two hours. Tickets are $15, $30, $45 and $120 at Proboscis.org, with each price level coming with different access and gift levels.
