The realty show Survivor finally has some open lesbians, this time two in one season. The ninth season of the CBS show Survivor features 18 people on the islands of Vanuatu, and two are lesbians: Ami Cusack and Scout Cloud.
Openly gay Richard Hatch was the first Survivor winner—and the San Francisco Chronicle reports: 'Again and again, reality shows have failed to include a single lesbian
'character.' After five seasons of The Amazing Race, five seasons of Big Brother and eight seasons of Survivor (not counting the recent all-star cast), gay men are leading lesbians 14 to zero—on CBS alone.'
