Sad, sad news about Lady Darshavia passing away. Sorry Gina, I couldn't make it to the funeral; I really wasn't
up for dealing with it. I remember seeing her at the Mashed Potato Club and the Annex 3. She was a star ….

Stella!!! After all those nasty things I wrote about Stella's hysterectomy, she goes and buys me a
Christmas present. (By the way she's all healed up and ready for action now … Touché?)
A Kenneth Cole
T-shirt, a pair of cocktail slippers and Drama Queen lip balm: everything I need for a quiet night in PLUS a
bottle of tequila, a hooker and an old B/W movie … oh bliss!!
And talking about B/W movies, has anybody
seen Beauty for Sale, which they've been showing recently on TCM. It was made in 1933 and stars Madge
Evans, Alice Brady, and Otto Kruger … six years before The Women and even more of a bitch-fest. Trashy and
fabulous!! Anyone who has any more info on this movie please email me

Happy birthday to Scott at Buddies who got a big surprise half way
through the Stella Show …
And a message to the guy who followed me to Madrigals and Touché that
night … well, my email is above.

Take a look at Dan Crowley's cartoon because he's teaching
Blanche about gay culture … maybe some of our younger readers may like to learn along with her. My three
dogs, Truman Capote, Tallulah Bankhead and Jane Austen are big fans of Mr. Crowley's cartoon strip. I read it
to them every week.

It's great to have the very talented Samantha Hamilton taking photographs this
week for Nightspots. Go visit her website www.
