The Royal Imperial Sovereign Barony of the Windy City Adornment III: Cirque de la Lune was a glittering gala of big hair and even bigger tiaras. Hosted by Baroness II Fabiola and Baron II Steve Nokes, I was honored to be awarded the title Sovereign Scribe for Life. Actually, I was gobsmacked …
… And I can't believe those gossipy little queens at Nightspots knew all about it and
didn't tell me.

Ambrosia Salad's benefit for Children's Place at Bobby Love's raised $600 and was an outrage. Tina Angst was stunning as always, and the girls left the bar in a complete mess— which is their trademark.
Nightspots photographer, Miss X, was there and looked slightly drunk and bewildered as she repeatedly muttered to herself, 'This show is freaking me out.'
It was the best show I've ever seen at Bobby's. Porn stars Nick Piston and Steve Cannon were there, and Steve was kind enough to buy me Ambrosia's pink vagina, which I keep on my desk and lick every so often.

Rumors are rife about that bar being sold on Halsted Street. I've heard it's sold and was bought by someone in Evanston who's turning it into a dance bar. I've heard the landlord blocked the sale and it's still up for grabs …
… it's a shame if they close.

I saw Teri Yaki singing The Pussycat Song at her Sunday night drag show at Charlie's and immediately went into therapy the next day. She really is the most scary piece of trash on the scene and her show is a must-see. Has anybody else noticed that County Fair is the spitting image of Cameron … only with a dick?
The Pointer Sisters routine was breathtaking, and where is Vanity Fair these days? I haven't seen her for a while. Don't tell me she's in jail.

I caught the end of the Sunday Amateur Strip night at Jackhammer, followed by the Chicago Beef boys. Manflesh is always good to see. Hi Allan!!
Spent some time talking to Jim. He's got a knack for picking great bartenders and DJs. That's the key to a successful bar.

Bruno at Touche tells me that Open Hand is having money problems. Is it time for a fundraiser? Anybody know anything about this?

I bumped into Sky dancing at Cocktail; isn't he just adorable? Cocktail has the best dancers on Halsted Street. KJ was also there in the crowd, and I haven't seen him since I photographed him naked on Chuck Goes' yacht this summer. He's a very sweet man …

Not all gay people are fun to be with. Why would you push a glass into someone's face? And if we find out who trashed a Nightspots photographer's car outside a certain gay bar, we will arrange to have your legs broken … you fucked up little bitch.
