Well, this is the last week that Nightspots will look like this, because the next issue will be in a glossy format. We started Nightspots two years ago (actually it first began as Nightlines 13 years ago) and it's been a long strange trip into bar/clubland, and we've met so many interesting people; especially those among you who really should be locked away somewhere. (You know who you are, and if you don't, then your friends do).
Even though Nightspots is going glossy, we're still continuing with our mission to promote local talent and nightlife. By talent, we don't just mean singers, bands etc., but all kinds of talents, i.e. if you can down 21 shots and still get home in a cab, THAT'S TALENT … and we will be there with a camera to photograph the whole mess for Nightspots. That way, ALL of our readers can enjoy the sight of you with your head down the toilet.
So the content of Nightspots won't be changing that much. If it ain't broke, why fix it? By going glossy, it will mean that our photographers and artists will be better able to showcase their work.
Thanks to all our advertisers, supporters, and friends out there who have taken Nightspots to the next level.

A good crowd turned out for the Godiva show at Annex 3, and Go Diva herself looked absolutely stunning with each costume change outdoing the last.
Godiva gives good drag.

Although I didn't go to any Onyx events myself—I vaguely remember going to one—I kept bumping into Onyx guys all over town for the Blackout VIII weekend. I heard from many sources that their party at Jackhammer was a riot.
And thanks to Israel and the Big Black Daddy Bear I snagged for photos in the bathroom at Touché.

Hot Tips:
Don't forget the Halloween parties are coming up. And also, don't forget the golden rule: Just because you can squeeze your fat ass into it, it doesn't mean you need to be wearing it out on the street.
As most of you know, I celebrate Halloween every day of the year, i.e. I think life is one big fucking nightmare, only made bearable by a few cocktails with friends.

Anyway, go dance your ass off at the Resurrection and Aftermath parties at Charlie's with the amazing DJ Kid X-Site.

It's not all about girls at Temptations, because Tuesdays is male dancer night, and that's when the boys get crazy out there.

The guys at Hideaway have a new web site. Go visit www.hideaway-nightclub.com .

Hydrate has been dragging it up lately with the likes of Vanity Fair, Teena Angst (former cover model) and Tajma Hall (your cover's coming soon, sweetness!). Stop in for a show and a shot. Very gorgeous bar!

On October 23 at Planet Earth Neo there's a show called 15 Minutes of Fashion, with designs by Craig Calhoun of Elsewhere, Rae of Fashion Pussycat, and Stacy Ellen Rich of Rock N. Roll Beauty Show. I'll be there.
