Nightspots' Associate Director, Kirk Williamson, is celebrating his birthday October 30 at Clark's on Clark. I have no idea how old he is, but go along and buy him a birthday Absolut and cranberry. He needs it working for this paper.

The gang dropped into Scots for Creaoke night and we had a blast!! Luis, Mr. Windy City Gay Idol, was amazing as always … the walls were shivering … and I didn't know Russ could use his tonsils in that way …

Star Gaze is celebrating and getting very scary on Friday, October 31 … yep, it's Hot As Hell salsa and Halloween with DJ Castro and DJ Naytrixx. Star Gaze is also hosting Flow on Tuesday nights 10-11 p.m. So if you're into poetry and the spoken word, head up to Andersonville.
Tonight at Berlin, DJ's Ralphi and Izzy take us back to the '70s with their Disco Obsession night.
I see that Dixons is offering $6 Violet Beauregard martinis on Wednesday nights. But what is a Violet Beauregard Martini? I'm heading out there next Wednesday to find out.
