Oh my God!! Gina and the Gyna Girls have now added the Annex 3 to their repertoire of venues. The opening number of their first show was … umm … interesting and a very touching moment.
The stage was empty except for a pedestal, on which was an urn containing the ashes of the late drag-diva Mina Howard. Gina bounced onstage and announced Mina as the first performer, and a song played while everyone tipped Mina's stunning posthumous performance; the money went to an AIDS charity.
