Wow! What a turnout for the Windy City Gay Idol bash at Circuit …

Not that I was actually there in the flesh; I sent my evil drugged-up hippie sister Colombia Cartel in my place. Not the prettiest creature on the planet, but certainly the most 'out-of-it.'

Apologies to the Barony. I just couldn't get to your show at the Annex on the same night. I'll have to make up for it somehow … BJ's all round.

But congratulations to Luis for winning Windy City Gay Idol. If you don't know Luis, he's just about the nicest guy you'll ever meet. I remember him singing on the Nightspots/Creaoke float last year.

Talking of floats, Nightspots and Creaoke are teaming up again this year for the Parade. If you see us passing and get the urge to jump on board … just go for it. I wrote that in this column last year and some people got pissed off with me about it. Well, fuck them!

Come and join us.

+++

Do any of you bar guys in Andersonville know what happened with that guy who passed out on the sidewalk.

He was shitfaced and there was blood everywhere … you guys know who I'm talking about.

I heard a rumor he died. The only reason I'm asking is because I took a great picture of him 10 minutes before the 'incident' and he was holding a cocktail and laughing. I don't want to put the picture in the paper if he died. That's tacky, right …

… right? OK, I'm asking the wrong fucking queens. Well, I think it's tacky.

+++

And there was me thinking those She-Devils had all been run out of town, when I spotted two of them in boy-drag sucking down cocktails in Charlie's.

My friends at ILGRA tell me they've 're-tooled' (uh huh!) their Web site. Go take a look at ILGRA.com

Ms. Julia Knight, webmistress, tells me that this month Stella Productions is @ Hideaway June 27 with Julia Knight and the Men of Adonis, and also at Hideaway June 30 for the Post Parade Hangover Party.

Party wild and safe this weekend.
