On March 28, Steppenwolf Theatre threw a benefit for its Young Adults education program at Venue One on Randolph with its annual "Red or White Ball," raising nearly $60,000.
Ensemble member Tarell Alvin McCraney, playwright for Head of Passes, was in attendance along with cast members from a variety of past productions.
Some restaurants that turned up to feed the masses included Geja's Cafe, RA Sushi and Taco Joint.
Raffles, auctions and a DJ spinning dance tunes were all part of the fun-filled evening.
