Bianca St. Georges made her Chicago Red Stars debut as the team tied the Washington Spirit 1-1 on Juneteenth (June 19) at SeatGeek Stadium.
Morgan Gautrat scored a late penalty in stoppage time; she also led the team with 27 passes in the opposing half (46 total passes), a passing accuracy of 76.1%, 65 touches, and tied for the team lead with three tackles defensively.
Sarah Gorden led all Red Stars players with 73 touches throughout the game, playing a crucial role on both the defensive and offensive sides of the pitch.
After making her Canada Women's National Team debut earlier this week, St. Georges made her 2021 Red Stars debut after coming on in the 64th minute. She contributed 22 touches throughout the game and finished with 15 total passes and an interception defensively.
The Red Stars next travel to Washington state to take on OL Reign on Tuesday, June 22, in Tacoma at 9 p.m. CT.
