A murder has been committed on a segregated Louisiana military base during World War II in
Charles Fuller's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama A Soldier's Play. See how the Black investigating
officer deals with racism not only toward the African-American community, but from within in
this searing drama. A Soldier's Play continues through Saturday, March 30, at the Raven Theatre,
6157 N. Clark St. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays with 3 p.m. matinees
on Sundays. Tickets are $36 with discounts available for seniors; tickets are $15 for active military
service members, veterans and students. There is also a special "Out at Raven" for the LGBT
community at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, which features a pre-show wine and appetizer reception
