In a game that lived up to all expectations, the Force and the Sharks played a valiant game that came down to the final seconds. In the end, Chicago couldn't put points on the board despite repeatedly driving into the red zone, including a first-and-goal in the fourth quarter. It was truly a nailbiter and both teams played a great game. With the 6-2 win at Chicago, New York sits in first place atop the Mid Atlantic Division.
The Force will travel next weekend to Detroit to face off with the Predators.
'A big, big thank you goes out to all the fans that came out to support the Force. It was the best crowd we've seen all season and your cheers really helped the team keep on fighting. We hope you all had as much fun as we did,' the team's Web site stated.
