In WNBA action, Courtney Vandersloot and Emma Meesseman each scored 20 points to lead the Chicago Sky (9-4) to an 88-86 win over the New York Liberty (5-9) in the Big Apple on June 12. It was the Sky's fifth win in six games.
Stefanie Dolson played her second game against her former team after winning the 2021 WNBA championship with the Sky last year. New York's Sabrina Ionescu recorded her second career triple-double with 27 points, 12 assists and 13 rebounds.

On June 12, the Chicago Red Stars took down the Orlando Pride 1-0, with Mallory Pugh scoring the team's lone goal.
