To kick off the 2022 midterm elections, the Cook County Democratic Party is hosting the party's first Secretary of State Forum on Saturday, June 5, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Chair Toni Preckwinkle will moderate the event on Zoom. Committeepeople Stephanie Coleman (16th Ward) and Maggie O'Keefe (40th Ward) organized the event on behalf of the party.

The 80 Democratic Committeepeople will be available to ask questions of the candidates. Each candidate will have 20 minutes for an introduction and questions. The candidates confirmed include City Clerk Anna Valencia, Chicago Ald. Pat Dowell, state Sen. Mike Hastings, Alexi Giannoulias and Chicago Ald. David Moore.
