The Second City announced a new production coming to the e.t.c. stage, The SuperAfroWavyDrippyExtraBrilliantDope Show.
The show, performed by an all-Black cast, is directed by Rob Wilson and features ensemble members Trumane Alston, Karl Bradley, Chloe Mikala, Max Thomas, Adisa Williams and Brittany Yawn, with Arlieta Hall and Justin Fullerton as understudies.
Created as an evolution of the theater's Black History Month Show tradition, The SuperAfroWavyDrippyExtraBrilliantDope Show celebrates the comedy contributions of Second City's BIPOC alumni, including Keegan-Michael Key, Amber Ruffin, Tim Meadows, Sam Richardson and more.
The show runs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. during Feb. 1-March 9. Tickets start at $29 each, and are available by phone at 312-337-3992 or online at secondcity.com .
The e.t.c. Theater is at 230 W. North Ave.
