The Chicago Sky certainly didn't panic Aug. 20.
Playing at Wintrust Arena and facing elimination, the Chicago Sky paved the way to a third and deciding game by defeating the New York Liberty 100-62the largest margin of victory in WNBA playoff history, a press release noted.
Kahleah Copper led the Sky with 20 points.
The Liberty defeated the Sky on Aug. 17 98-91 in a game in which Chicago "panicked," as forward Azura Stevens put it, according to The Chicago Tribune.
The Sky will travel to Brooklyn to play the New York Liberty on Tuesday, Aug. 23. The tipoff is TBD and the game will air on TSN. The winner of that meeting will advance to the WNBA semifinals.
