In WNBA action, the Chicago Sky fell to the Minnesota Lynx 101-95 at WinTrust Arena on Aug. 21.
Courtney Vandersloot and Allie Quigley put on dominant offensive performances, combining for more than half of the Sky's points as they each scored 27 points. Quigley tied her season-high, knocking down four from behind the three-point arc; Vandersloot was just a point off her career-high (28 against the L.A. Sparks on May 30).
Chicago shot 48% and dished out 24 assists in its highest-scoring loss of the season, while the Lynx scored a season high.
The Sky (11-12) will next travel to face the Atlanta Dream (6-17) on Tuesday, Aug. 24, at Gateway Center Arena. Sky fans can catch tip-off, which is set for 6 p.m. CT., by watching The U/ ESPN3.
