Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's A Star Is Born soundtrack surpassed 1 million copies sold in the United States, Billboard.com noted. Star sold 16,000 copies in the tracking week ending March 21, bringing the soundtrack's cumulative sales sum to 1,003,000 after 24 weeks. This is Gaga's fourth top-selling album, and her first to reach the million mark since May 2011, when Born This Way launched with 1.11 million sold in its first week. A Star Is Born continues to be the top-selling album of 2019, with 298,000 copies sold.

Beyonce was named entertainer of the year at the 50th annual NAACP Image Awards while husband Jay-Z received the President's Award for his public-service achievements. on March 30, USA Today noted. In addition, Black Panther was awarded best motion picture ( beating out BlacKkKlansman, Crazy Rich Asians, If Beale Street Could Talk and The Hate U Give ), and three of the film's stars—Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan ( who also won for acting in HBO's Fahrenheit 451 ) and Danai Gurira—received honors as well. Some of the other winners included If Beale Street Could Talk, Taraji P. Henson, Black-ish, the special Black Girls Rock!, actor Omari Hardwick and his show, Power. Jussie Smollett was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, but lost to Grey's Anatomy's Jesse Williams.

Speaking of Smollett and the awards show, comedian Chris Rock took a jab at the actor, calling the Empire star a "waste of light skin" less than a week after charges against the actor were dropped, People noted. "From now on, I ain't never gonna… You Jessie from now on. You don't even get the 'u' no more," he said, again getting laughs from stars like Trevor Noah. However, other celebrities—such as Yara Shahidi and Lena Waithe—stated their support of Smollett at the ceremony.

Singer Adam Lambert confirmed his new relationship with Spanish model Javi Costa Polo on Instagram, captioning cute photos of them together with "LUV U," NewNowNext.com noted. Polo also shared a photo of he and Lambert on Instagram, captioned with a lyric from "If I Had You," a song from Lambert's debut album, For Your Entertainment: "But if I had you, that would be the only thing I'd ever need." Last month Lambert released "Feel Something," a preview of his fourth studio album and first solo album in four years.

Celine Dion celebrated her 51st birthday by being L'Oreal Paris' new global ambassador, People.com noted. "I'm in shock, actually. I never, never expected something like this," Dion said. As the star prepares to close out her long-running hit Las Vegas residency at Caesar's Palace, she said it's her newfound strength ( following her husband's 2016 death ) that has inspired her to follow new passions, including totally revamping her style.

Fans are obsessing over one specific line in the Ariana Grande/Victoria Monet song "Monopoly" that both artists sing: "I like women and men ( yeah )," Page Six noted. ( Later in the song, Grande sings the line solo. ) Monet came out as bisexual last November, tweeting, "After coming out, this thanksgiving coulda went waaaay left!! But she love meeeee how I am and I'm so happy."

Few will forget when the white tiger Montecore viciously attacked magician Roy Horn in 2003 during Siegfried & Roy's Las Vegas show—but trainer Chris Lawrence has told The Hollywood Reporter that Horn himself is to blame for the accident, USA Today noted. Lawrence said Horn was spending too little time with the tigers before shows, eroding the bond between animal and performer. Lawrence, 45, has been diagnosed with PTSD and said he is recovering from alcohol abuse, night terrors and suicidal thoughts. He told The Hollywood reporter he's speaking out now to set out the facts before a planned biopic Siegfried & Roy reportedly have in the works.

Singer Demi Lovato took to Instagram Story to call out a recent article by the Inquisitr titled "Demi Lovato Appears To Have A Fuller Figure After Working Up A Sweat In LA"—and she made sure to get her point across by tagging the editor of the article, Fabio Magnocavallo, iHeart.com noted. "I am more than my weight," Lovato wrote atop a screen capture in a bold, red font. "Unlike the past, I'm not triggered, I'm not upset that someone wrote a headline about my 'fuller figure.' I'm angry that people think it's okay to write headlines about people's body shapes."

Nearly two months after admitting to the London newspaper The Independent that he tried to bait a Black man into accosting him in an irrational attempt to avenge a friend who was raped by a man of the same ethnicity 40 years ago, Liam Neeson has apologized again, Deadline.com reported. In part, the new apology reads, "What I failed to realize is that this is not about justifying my anger all those years ago, it is also about the impact my words have today. I was wrong to do what I did. I recognize that, although the comments I made do not reflect, in any way, my true feelings nor me, they were hurtful and divisive. I profoundly apologize."

Janet Jackson delivered a nostalgia-tinged speech after being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame but also said, "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame please, 2020: Induct more women," Page Six noted. Among those Jackson thanked were her family, Paula Abdul ( who was her initial choreographer ), Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss, the production team of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Dick Clark and Don Cornelius, Angela Winbush and the late makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin.

At a preview performance of Tootsie—the Broadway show based on the 1982 comedy classic about a struggling actor named Michael Dorsey who poses as actress "Dorothy Michaels" to land a soap role—the audience was handed Michaels' head shot and resume, Page Six revealed. Michaels' stage credits included the "Pickle Barrel Theater" and "Valley View Middle School," while the CV also boasted of a role as Lady McBreath in a dental ad, plus a "saleswoman who dies" in an insurance spot.

Law & Order: SVU and its star Mariska Hargitay have cemented their places in television history, as NBC has renewed Dick Wolf's series for a record-setting 21st season, Deadline noted. SVU is surpassing the previous mark of 20 seasons set by mothership series Law & Order ( 1990-2010 ) and Gunsmoke ( 1955-75 ). The renewal also marks a milestone for Hargitay's Lt. Benson as the longest-running character in a primetime live-action series.

Mick Jagger, 75, has been ordered to undergo medical treatment ( specifically, heart-valve replacement surgery ) by his doctors, leading the Rolling Stones to postpone a major U.S. stadium tour, Deadline.com noted. Jagger has maintained a fitness regimen that allows him to keep up frenzied stage activity and retain a lean frame, allowing the Stones to continue touring at an advanced age. Tickets will be valid for the "No Filter" tour when it is rescheduled. The tour was to start April 20 in Miami.

Jennifer Lopez, a judge and executive producer on NBC's World of Dance, is being sued by a man who claims he pitched the idea for competition series 10 years ago, Page Six noted. The man, Alvin Gray-El, filed a federal lawsuit against Lopez, NBC and famed choreographer Debbie Allen. Gray-El claims he pitched the idea of a show called Let's Start the Dance back in 2009, according to legal documents The Blast obtained.

Billboard reported that not only was the Panic! At the Disco's Pray For The Wicked tour number one on the Hot Tours chart dated March 30, but it's now officially the highest-earning tour in band history, according to iHeart.com . Brendon Urie and company have seen a 170 percent increase over the Death of a Bachelor tour, which brought in $18.1 million. Also, the band's song "High Hopes" became the longest leading number-one single on the Adult Pop Songs radio airplay chart this decade.

The gay pastor's son whose emotional American Idol audition went viral has secured a spot in the show's top 20 after delivering a performance during a final audition in Hawaii, Out.com noted. Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon performed Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide," which he said he had hoped to dedicate to his parents, who weren't there to support him because they don't agree with his choice to live his true life. After a heartfelt performance, Harmon shared an emotional moment with his boyfriend and revealed he's been planning to dedicate the song to his mom and dad.

German-born actor Udo Kier—known for cult films like Andy Warhol's Dracula and My Own Private Idaho—has signed to play a real-life gay hairdresser named Mister Pat in a semi-fictionalized movie called Swan Song, the third part of the Ohio trilogy by Todd Stephens ( Edge of Seventeen; Gypsy 83 ), NewNowNext.com reported. To launch the film, Stephens recently had a successful kickstarter campaign that made $76,870, which he'll use when he starts shooting in May in his hometown of Sandusky, Ohio.

ABC's General Hospital's annual Nurses Ball returns to Port Charles, Thursday, May 16, a press release noted—and, in anticipation of this year's eponymous event, ABC is releasing the "Best of the Nurses Ball 2014-2018" collection. The collection includes 16 episodes from fictional Port Charles' most glamorous charity event, the Nurses Ball. Dedicated to HIV/AIDS awareness and research, the Nurses Ball features exquisite red carpet fashion, original music, musical and dance performances, and plenty of drama. Beginning today through June 30, the 16-episode collection is available for viewers with no sign-in required at ABC.com/nursesball and on the ABC app.

Jacqueline Laurita fully supports Caroline Manzo's potential return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and is accusing Teresa Giudice of being "scared" of her sister-in-law, Page Six reported. "They need you back!" Laurita commented under Manzo's teaser of her sons' podcast, "Dear Albie." "That would be epic."

Lisa Vanderpump had plenty to celebrate at the opening party for her Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, but her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars were not part of the festivities, Page Six noted. "Well, I did have an invitation to them because I had it on e-mail and it was all written out for all of them you know. And they're not here—I think it was probably because I forgot to press the send button," she said. However, longtime pal Camille Grammer offered her support, attending the bash with teen daughter Mason.
