( San Francisco, CA ) - Rodney Evans' award-winning drama BROTHER TO BROTHER will air nationally on the Emmy-Award winning PBS series INDEPENDENT LENS, hosted by Susan Sarandon, on Tuesday, June 14th at 10PM ( check local listings. ) The DVD of the film will be released that day as well by Wolfe Video.

BROTHER TO BROTHER explores the spiritual link between a contemporary black gay New York artist and the trailblazers of the Harlem Renaissance and it stars Anthony Mackie, Daniel Sunjata and Aunjanue Ellis. The film won the Special Jury Prize at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for four Independent Spirit Awards.
