CHICAGO, Ill. (March 26th, 2012) - The Chicago Red Stars today have announced their 2012 WPSL Elite League schedule, which features 7 home and 7 away fixtures. All home dates this season will be open to the general public as part of the full season ticket package, or as individual game ticket options.

The Red Stars will be foregoing one specific home venue for 2012, as field turf renovations will be ongoing this summer at Benedictine University, and instead will feature in various locations in the Chicagoland area. This unique opportunity will allow fans across the entire Chicago region to have several dates available within closer proximity to them. Expected venues include Benedictine University in Lisle, North Central College in Naperville, and Northwestern University in Evanston.

The team's home opener will take place on Sunday, May 20th, at 3pm CST against regional rival FC Indiana. Other key features will be Sunday, June 3rd, at 5pm against the Boston Breakers, and the season home finale on Saturday, July 14th, at 7pm against 2011 WPS champions WNY Flash. Full schedule can be seen below. All venues and times listed are 'tentative' until further confirmation.

The Red Stars have also announced 2012 ticket packages. The Red Stars Supporter Club season ticket package is available for $135 and includes admission to every Red Stars Elite league and exhibition home game at each venue in the preferred seating area, special access to non-public events, and an official 2012 Red Stars home jersey in the women's or men's size of your choice, which will be officially unveiled in the next month.

The Red Stars also have a 10-game Flex Package which includes 10 undated general admission tickets for use in any combination for a Red Stars home game for $90. Supporter's and Flex tickets can be purchased now: redstarsgear.com/tickets2012.

Single game and group tickets will be announced at a later date. Any group inquiries can be directed toinfo@chicagoredstars.com .
