Friends and family of a well-known queer burlesque performer are looking for information related to his disappearance.
Alberto Ramon Gutierrez, also known by performance name "Mister Junior," has been missing from his Pilsen apartment since Monday, Aug. 12, say friends.
Friends are concerned for his immediate safety.
Gutierrez, 26, was last seen giving away costumes and accessories to friends in his Pilsen home Monday night. According to his roommate and best friend Kiam Marcelo Junio, Gutierrez has not been seen since.
Gutierrez is well-known in Chicago's queer performance scene. He has been a member of the burlesque group Vaudezilla since 2011.
Gutierrez is 5'10," 140 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. He has a black sun tattoo on his right forearm and his ears are pierced.
Friends are asking that anyone with information related to Gutierrez's disappearance to contact police.
