Queer Utah Aquatic Club ( QUAC ) will host its annual Ski & Swim Weekend on Presidents Day Weekend, Feb. 16-18.
The event brings together GLBTA swimmers from across the country. It combines Utah's famous winter sporting opportunities with a sanctioned swim meet, water polo tournament and synchronized swimming exhibition.
The host hotel is the Hilton Salt Lake City Center, 255 South West Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. The rate is $109 per night. Thirty ( 30 ) rooms are reserved and space is limited; call 877-776-4936.

Telluride Gay Ski Week Coming Soon
On Feb. 24-March 4, Telluride Gay Ski Week 2007 will take over the town of Mountain Village, Colo., and the Telluride Ski Resort.
Guests can look forward to over 45 inches at the base and an average depth of 40 inches when they arrive at the slopes this year, according to a press release. With more snow in the forecast, skiers are enjoying packed powder surface conditions at the resort. Currently, all 16 lifts are in operations and 82 of 84 trails are available to skiers, encompassing 977 acres of open area.
The annual Telluride Gay Ski Week ( TGSW ) is a unique vacation experience that stands apart from other gay ski functions. Designed as an alternative to other gay ski events, TGSW combines a unique blend of top-rate skiing and other activities, such as Last Run Happy Hour. Guests will enjoy the 92-acre pedestrian centre of Mountain Village that encompasses an array of recreational facilities, restaurants, hotels and shops offering a unique selection of jewelry, furnishings, apparel and antiques.
