Proud To Runa 10K run and 5K run and walk that celebrates LGBTQIA pridewill take place Saturday, June 28.
A part of Pride Week since 1982, more than 2,200 people participated in last year's event by running, walking, volunteering and sponsoring.
The event will start at Montrose Avenue at Simonds Drive ( east of Lake Shore Drive ). The 10K starts at 8:04 a.m.; the 5K starts at 8:15 a.m. On-site registration is $45.
The Chicago Spirit Brigade and Lakeside Pride Music Ensembles will be on hand to entertain event participants, volunteers and spectators. |
