Pride Chicago presents the 31st Annual Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade, "Take Pride, Take Joy, Take Action," Sunday, June 25.
Kick-off is 2 p.m. from Belmont and Halsted, with floats and contingents lined up south on Halsted to Fullerton. The route goes north on Halsted, south on Broadway, then east on Diversey to Sheridan Rd. in Lincoln Park.
The rally and music fest Sunday is 4-7 p.m., 3000 N. Lake Shore Dr., entertainment ( including Pulsation Band and Forbidden Fruit Band ) , awards, and community info tables. Pride buttons, t-shirts and flags are also available.

The Dyke March 2000 is Saturday, June 24, 2 p.m., starting at Foster and Ashland ( in Andersonville ) The Route: Up Clark Street to Bryn Mawr and over to Lake Michigan for Carol Queen, swimming, performances, speakers, and more. Call ( 312 ) 661-9128.
"Here 4U Youth Zone" is a pride weekend series of events for those 24 and under. "Prevention thru Pride" is sponsored by: Howard Brown Health Center, Horizons, Chicago HIV Prevention Planning Group, the city's Office of Gay & Lesbian Health, Aunt Martha's, Equality Illinois, Night Ministries, Teen Living Program, Fuel, Pride Youth, Asian Human Services and more.
