Planned Parenthood of Illinois ( PPIL ) has launched a digital education series called "Real Talk: Creating Healthy Conversations with Young People."
Designed for parents, guardians and caretakers, the free, virtual series is on Zoom on Tuesday evenings, continuing Aug. 18 and running through Sept. 22.
There is no fee for the series, but registration is required. Registration for the next two sessions is open now:
Aug. 18: Navigating Tricky Topics and Answering Tough Questions
Aug. 25: Talking to Young People About Consent
Sept. 1: Talking to Young People About Gender & Sexual Identity
Sept. 8: Talking to Young People About Birth Control
Sept. 15: Talking to Young People About Sexually Transmitted Infections
Sept. 22: Talking to Young People About Sexually Explicit Materials
