New York Times critic Ben Brantley has proposed several Broadway roles for different celebrities, including Lady Gaga. Brantley feels that Gaga would be perfect as Auntie Mame, writing that "the role of madcap spiritual godmother to little misfit monsters everywhere is one that Lady Gaga already has down cold." He also suggested, among others, Lindsay Lohan in Arthur Miller's Finishing the Picture and Charlie Sheen in Eric Bogosian's Talk Radio.

In New York, Trevor Live will honor actor Daniel Radcliffe and Ernst & Young LLC at the annual show benefitting the Trevor Project's suicide-prevention services for LGBTQ youth June 27 at Capitale, according to a press release. Radcliffe will receive the Trevor Hero Award while and Ernst & Young is the Trevor 2020 Award honoree. Among those slated to attend are Mark Consuelos, Kelly Ripa, Robin Williams, Janeane Garofalo, Amy Poehler and Don Lemon.

Ellen and Portia DeGeneres are reportedly selling their Beverly Hills estate. According to Access Hollywood, they are asking $49 million for the 9,200-square-foot main house and $60 million for the whole compound, which includes two additional guesthouses. Reports state that the couple bought the home in 2007 from Will & Grace co-creator Max Mutchnick for $29 million. The home has a fitness center, pool, a wood-burning pizza oven and a 10-car underground garage, among other amenities.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell called an ad campaign comparing her to a chocolate candy bar "insulting and hurtful," and has indicated that she was thinking about suing the corporation behind it, according to CNN International. The ad featured a photo of the Cadbury Dairy Milk Bliss sitting on a heap of diamonds below the slogan "Move over Naomi, there's a new diva in town." Cadbury spokespeople denied that the ad was intended "to cause any offense," and that the ad would be pulled.

Singer Rihanna is being criticized for portraying a shooting in the video for her single "Man Down," according to Digital Spy. In the video, directed by Anthony Mandler, Rihanna shoots an apparent rapist at a train station, before the events of earlier in the day are shown. The Parents Television Council said, "Instead of telling victims they should seek help, Rihanna released a music video that gives retaliation in the form of premeditated murder the imprimatur of acceptability."

In New York, Hot 97 DJ/radio personality DJ Mister Cee entered a guilty plea in a prostitution case stemming from a recent bust with a male companion, according to TheBoombox.com . Cee was charged with loitering for the purpose of engaging in a prostitution offense with a male companion, from whom he received oral sex. However, the companion ( identified as Lawrence Campbell, a.k.a. Pink Lady ) insists he is not a prostitute.

Whitney Houston has reportedly been diagnosed with emphysema, according to Gather.com . Some are questioning how much of a role this illness, if the report is true, has played in her recently canceled shows and subpar performances. Emphysema, also referred to as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or COPD, makes it very difficult for sufferers to breathe; its most prevalent cause is cigarette smoking. For the record, a rep for Houston denies that the singer has the disease, according to Digital Spy.

Lindsay Lohan's electronic ankle bracelet went off, but the incident is believed to have been a false alarm. Lohan is under house arrest for violating probation for a 2007 DUI charge. Her monitoring device went off, alerting probation officers that she could have left her home—which would have been a violation of the terms of her house arrest. However, officers found the actress sunbathing on her roof and reading movie scripts.

In an interview with Zap2It.com, Ugly Betty actor Eric Mabius ( who played publisher Daniel Meade ) hinted that the show's demise happened because of an executive who was uncomfortable with the show's gay content. Mabius said the executive was not totally on board with the storyline about Betty's teenage nephew, Justin, and his burgeoning gay identity; however, the exec also was reportedly unhappy with Michael Urie's over-the-top characterization of Marc, Wilhelmina Slater's ( Vanessa Williams ) flamboyant assistant.

Joe Manganiello, who plays the muscular werewolf Alcide Herveaux on True Blood, talked with Men's Health about the intensity of his workouts. Manganiello, who decided against pursuing a sports career, describes his training sessions as "sheer pain" and an "hour of brutality." True Blood returns for its fourth season Sunday, June 26, on HBO.

On talk-show host Piers Morgan's show, Wanda Sykes was asked if she truly believed it was harder to be gay than to be Black, and she agreed—to a point, CNN.com reported. Sykes said, "I believe that. I'm not talking about the history of African-Americans. I'm talking about at this point right now." Sykes—who married female partner Alex after coming out in 2008, and is also a mother of two—said, that the best thing about being out of the closet is that she has "absolutely nothing to hide."

After a week, British songstress Amy Winehouse has checked out of rehab and is ready for her summer tour across Europe, according to a New York Post item. Her rep, Chris Goodman, said, "Amy Winehouse has completed her assessment at the Priory clinic in London and will continue as an outpatient." The Grammy winner has been in and out of rehab and has dealt with various legal situations throughout her music career.

Fox Broadcasting has confirmed that Glee star Jane Lynch will host the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards Sept. 18, according to the New York Post. "I am tickled pink to be hosting the Primetime Emmys," Lynch, 50, said in a statement. "I'm looking forward to singing, dancing and sporting my finest tracksuit."

Actor Bradley Cooper ( The Hangover 2 ) talked about his gay-sex scene in the 2001 movie Wet Hot American Summer in Esquire magazine, according to On Top Magazine. Cooper—who also played gay in the 2010 film Valentine's Day—recalled, "I remember saying, 'What if we wear tube socks, and I'll go up on the wall, and you'll come from behind me.' And I said in the scene, 'Say my name,' and Michael [ Ian Black ] says, 'Ben!' And I say, 'No! Say my Christian name,' and he whispers, 'Benjamin,' and that's when I came." Other stars in Wet Hot American Summer include Paul Rudd, Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce and Amy Poelher.

Get ready to see people eat unusual animal parts as NBC gears up to bring back Fear Factor. According to BuddyTV.com, NBC's head of alternative programming, Paul Telegdy, said the show, which premiered 10 years ago, has gotten strong ratings with reruns on Chiller ( a horror-based TV network ) and decided to try to reboot it. There's no word whether Joe Rogan will return as host.

Lady Gaga's Born This Way has become the fastest-selling album this year, according to Digital Spy. The "Judas" singer's CD has topped the charts in more than 13 countries, has been certified platinum in Australia, Brazil and the United States. Born This Way sold more than 2 million copies worldwide during its first week of availability, with 1.11 million of those sales coming from the United States alone.

Chelsea Handler said that she may not renew her contract for her talk show, Chelsea Lately, once it expires next year, Digital Spy reported. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she admitted that she has grown bored with the project and feels as though her "brain is bleeding," leading her to consider moving on from the network. Handler's memoirs will be a new NBC comedy due to air this fall entitled Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea.

Singer Pink gave birth to a girl, according to Digital Spy. A post on her Twitter account read, "We are ecstatic to welcome our new beautiful healthy happy baby girl, Willow Sage Hart. She's gorgeous, just like her daddy. #beyondblessed" Pink married motocross racer Carey Hart in 2006. The couple separated in 2008, but reunited the next year.

Transgender model Lea T.'s star continues to rise as she has landed a swimwear for one of Brazil's largest swimwear lines, according to Fashionista.com . Terry Richardson shot Lea T. and a group of male models for Brazilian swim label Blue Man at the beach in Ipanema. She has been featured in Vogue Paris and haas walked for Givenchy; in addition, she appeared on The Oprah Winfrey show during its last season.

The 7th Annual OUTMusic Awards took place May 23—postponed for six months because of economic difficulties, according to its website. Among the winners were Ariel Aparicio ( for OUTstanding Rock Song for "People Who Died" ) , Nhojj ( for his R&B anthem "The Gay Warrior Song" ) and Rachael Sage ( for OUTstanding producer ) . Also, Chely Wright received the Vanguard Award while Melissa Etheridge got a Lifetime Achievement honor and the late singer Sylvester received the Icon Award.

British singer Adele has canceled the remaining nine dates on her sold-out North American tour because of an ongoing illness, according to USA Today. A specialist insisted "it was imperative that she take the next few weeks to recover with absolute voice rest." The "Rolling in the Deep" singer had to previously postpone five shows because of laryngitis. In a statement, Adele described herself as "really frustrated."

Actress Gabrielle Carteris has been elected to a two-year term as president of the Los Angeles division of the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists ( AFTRA ) , according to Variety. Carteris—best known for her role as Andrea Zuckerman in the original TV show Beverly Hills, 90210—is part of the faction Unite for Strength, which has stressed the need for merging the Screen Actors Guild and AFTRA.

South African runner Caster Semenya finished second in the 800-meter race in her U.S. debut at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Ore., June 4, according to USA Today. Semenya won a race of the same length convincingly at the 2009 world championships, but had to sit out almost a year to await results of gender testing; the sport's governing body then cleared her for competition.

Icelandic singer Björk, 45, has posted a half-minute teaser of new track entitled "Crystalline" online, according to Digital Spy. She is preparing to release her seventh studio album, Biophilia, later this year. She intends to release a collection of apps and Internet projects, and will incorporate her music, art installations and live shows into a related multimedia Biophilia project.

R&B legend Patti LaBelle has been accused of ordering an attack on 23-year-old Richard King, a senior who attended the U.S. Military Academy at West Point who allegedly got too close to her luggage at George H.W. Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, according to RollingStone.com . King has filed a lawsuit, claiming that he was attacked by LaBelle's bodyguards March 11. However, according to Deadspin.com, videos showed King interacting with a driver and bodyguard before they push him to the ground. King has been suspended from West Point for a year.

The Biggest Loser will have a new look next season as Dolvett Quince—who has Justin Bieber and Janet Jackson among his clients—will join the series as a personal trainer, MSNBC.com reported. Quince will be alongside fellow newbie Anna Kournikova ( the former tennis star who's replacing Jillian Michaels ) and veteran Bob Harper.

The Chicago Cubs and Boston Red Sox will produce separate "It Gets Better" videos, which takes a stand against anti-gay bullying and homophobia. For the Cubs, the project has been in the works for more than a week and is set to be filmed after the team returns to Wrigley Field from its current 10-game road trip. The Cubs and Red Sox are the second and third professional sports team to participate in the "It Gets Better" campaign, following the San Francisco Giants, who released a video already.

Twilight stars Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson shared a kiss June 5 at the MTV Movie Awards after Pattinson and Kristen Stewart won for Best Kiss, according to Advocate.com . Stewart and Pattinson talked about kissing each other before he said, "I just think there's someone else in the audience who I think will appreciate it a little more." He then went to Lautner, and they shared a lengthy kiss on the lips.

Gay icon Judy Garland's 1961 Carnegie Hall concert is reportedly the subject of the upcoming documentary Stay All Night, Digital Spy reported. Filmmakers Rob Epstein, Jeffrey Friedman and Steven Lippman have said that the famous show will serve as the basis of an exploration of Garland's '60s comeback. No film footage of the concert exists; however, the filmmakers hope to provide insight on the event by interviewing attendees and using sound clips from the album Judy at Carnegie Hall.

Katie Couric said that her new talk show will have an Oprah-esque feel, according to US Magazine. On Jay Leno's show, Couric told him that her show will "be sort of a little bit of what Oprah did." Couric left Today in 2006 to become the first woman to anchor a network evening news show by herself. Her new show, on ABC, will premiere September 2012.

Grammy and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson is writing a weight-loss memoir, according to USA Today. She has lost 80 pounds since becoming a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers. Dutton will publish the book, which is slated to be released next January.

Movie star Josh Duhamel will return to the daytime-TV soap All My Children in the role of Leo du Pres before the series departs, according to Digital Spy. Duhamel ( Transformers ) will make a guest appearance in August before the canceled ABC soap folds in September. He won a Daytime Emmy in 2002 for portraying du Pres.

Trevor Donovan—who portrays gay character Teddy on the high-school 90210 reboot TV series—will not return for the show's fourth season, according to an Advocate.com item. "I look back on getting this real-life story line as a blessing," Donovan told TVLine in a statement. "To be able to simultaneously take on a challenging role and bring awareness to a relevant social issue was a win-win for me. I'm looking forward to what opportunities and adventures lie ahead."
