Jennifer Parello, who writes a column called 'Dateland' for the Windy City Media Group publication Nightspots, has come out with a book of the same name.
Dateland is a novel that follows the romantic adventures of Julia and Tricia, best friends and law partners. Julia is recovering from a breakup with Jean, whose toe was crushed by the most hated and feared tow-truck firm in Chicago. Following the breakup, Julia ( reluctantly ) and Tricia ( gleefully ) take the case to trial. But their friendship and law practice is threatened when Tricia's girlfriend, Anne, leaves her for a minor pop heiress, and Tricia blames Julia for the breakup.
