Davenport's is thrilled to welcome Tony Award Winner, Outer Critics Circle Winner, and multi- awarding winning singer/songwriter Levi Kreis. Best known for originating the role of Jerry Lee Lewis in the musical Million Dollar Quartet, Levi's original compositions have had prominent features on many major networks including CBS, NBC, FX, CW, and VH1. As an actor, Levi first appeared as Roger in the national tour of Rent, quickly moving to film with a leading role in the award winning independent film Don't Let Go. He then appeared as Matthew McConaughey's brother in Bill Paxton's directorial debut Frailty. His recent stage success has garnered a 2010 TONY Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award, and a Drama League nomination for originating the role of Jerry Lee Lewis in Broadway's Million Dollar Quartet. Other stage credits include Broadway's 2014 four-time TONY nominated musical revival Violet, One Red Flower, and Smokey Joe's Cafe.
This tour is also the inauguration of a new tour policy for Kreis. Levi Kreis shows are now free for all veterans. Kreis says, "I know it's not much considering the sacrifice our veterans have made, but I wanted to freely extend my gift and hard work to those who have risked their lives for this country. It's my way of just saying thank you."
Levi Kreis is an internationally recognized recording artist, songwriter, stage and film actor, best known for providing memorable musical moments on top shows such as The Vampire Diaries, Sons of Anarchy, The Apprentice, Days of Our Lives, Young and the Restless, and movies including Kiss The Bride. He has performed on The View, David Letterman, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Don Imus, Macy's Day Thanksgiving Day Parade, and more.
