Don't let the August doldrums bite. Mars and Neptune play off Jupiter through the month, feeding our dreams, energizing our desires and generally pushing us in lucky directions. Party on, compadres and don't trip at the curb.

ARIES ( MARCH 21 - APRIL 20 ) The next weeks are chockablock with hefty purchases that satisfy your every whim. It also acts as an aphrodisiac with anyone you choose. Squeeze and spread your juice around. They say money cannot buy happiness but let's prove the skeptics wrong!

TAURUS ( APRIL 21 - MAY 21 ) Queer Bulls have excessive energy. Expend it on the job and with anything that plots out long term plans. ( Do you have any? ) There is something about you that encourages a certain someone to give you a shot at the big prize. Is your gun loaded?

GEMINI ( MAY 22 - JUNE 21 ) Get out of your rut, pink Twin. Mars conspires with Jupiter to provide a few fun surprises and sparks of inspiration. Travel is highlighted but only if it takes you to mind-altering, consciousness raising destinations. Try Maui, not Newark.

CANCER ( JUNE 22 - JULY 23 ) If you have been eyeing that palace by the beach, consider making a deposit. Improving your surroundings has emotionally recharging impact. Mars recruits a few good pals to help you with the heavy lifting... of the cocktails.

LEO ( JULY 24 - AUG. 23 ) Hard work pays off but it is not good enough to quietly toil. No effort gets recognized without some buzz. Send out press points. You have been a shining star professionally. Don't be shy -tell others how great you are. Roar it Out, proud Lion.

VIRGO ( AUG. 24 - SEPT. 23 ) Queer Virgins have itchy feet in August. Travel not only broadens your horizons but also expands your social life. Tie off any loose ends at work before you escape to parts unknown. Don't have another mountain ( of paper ) to climb when you return.

LIBRA ( SEPT. 24 - OCT. 23 ) How hot can your August get, gay Libra? Pretty hotsy totsy. Revel in it and plan to get your face out there where you can meet and greet. There is no telling who is waiting to get to know you. Hmmm. Is that in the biblical sense?

SCORPIO ( OCT. 24 - NOV. 22 ) Lose that straight jacket and be true to yourself. Jupiter is feeding you useful information through unusual sources. Go with your gut proud Scorp and act upon it. Some of these missives include important relationship advice. Do you need any?

SAGITTARIUS ( NOV. 23 - DEC. 22 ) If the mirror has not been kind, try for a better reflection. Gay Archers turn over a new, healthy leaf that not only enhances their image in their own eyes but also creates waves in their social pond. Beauty is only skin deep so show off that gorgeous skin.

CAPRICORN ( DEC. 23 - JAN. 20 ) Pink Caps glide through their career with the least effort and the maximum reward. Sipping coffee is seen as pivotal information gathering and staring out the window is viewed as creative brain work. Will you score points for taking a nap under your desk?

AQUARIUS ( JAN. 21 - FEB. 19 ) News of your exploits and talents travel even if you don't. So if money is tight or time is short, don't mope quietly around the house. Reach out as best as you can and bring the world to you. It is your base of operations if you do more than the lazy basics.

PISCES ( FEB. 20 - MARCH 20 ) Guppies seem to know just what to say to get who and what they want... at least for the month. While you reap the benefits of your charismatic bon mots, be sure to spread more universal truths around as well. Get off your stump and make a speech.
