There are several Oscar parties around town Sunday, including a benefit for the NAMES Project at Circuit, and a benefit for Chicago Gay Men's Chorus at Sidetrack. This will probably be the gayest year yet for the Oscars.

Queers Against War is a panel Sunday, March 23, with Leslie Feinberg as featured speaker; organized by Ifti Nasim, Neena Hemmedy and Andy Thayer, 2-5 p.m., Chicago Temple, 77 W. Washington. A couple hundred GLBT folks and non-gays gathered at Halsted and Roscoe Sunday night for an anti-war rally.
