New York, NY - Thursday, Jan. 7, 2020 - GLAAD, the world's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, along with leading LGBTQ legal, health, youth, justice and equality organizations, is calling for the immediate removal of Donald Trump as President effective immediately.
17 national LGBTQ organizations signed the following statement:
"As LGBTQ organizations and movement leaders, we call for the immediate and unequivocal removal of Donald Trump as President of the United States via the invoking of the 25th Amendment or by impeachment if necessary. Our nation's security and the personal security of every American is in grave danger, and we cannot afford to sustain even another day with this destructive and seditious man in the White House."

Voters have attempted to hold President Trump accountable, voting him out of office in the 2020 election. Congress and the Cabinet must now act to remove President Trump and the threat he poses to Americans' safety to ensure a peaceful transfer of power.
