NU professor sought in stabbing

Northwestern University associate professor Wyndham Lathem, 42, and Oxford University employee Andrew Warren, 56, are being sought regarding the fatal stabbing of a man in a River North apartment, The Chicago Sun-Times reported.
In connection with the July 27 death of 26-year-old Trenton Cornell-Duranleau, a judge issued arrest warrants for Lathem and Warren, charging them with first-degree murder. Latheman associate professor of microbiology and immunology at the Feinberg School of Medicineand Cornell-Duranleau lived together at the Grand Plaza Apartments, 540 N. State St., where the victim was found.
WGN-TV reported that neighbors said Lathem and Cornell-Duranleau were in a relationship.
Warren was a payroll assistant at Oxford University's Somerville College. His connection with Lathem is currently unknown, but his and Lathem's passports have been flagged, as they are believed to armed and dangerous. Northwestern officials have said that Lathem has been placed on administrative leave, and is barred from entering the school's campuses.
