Christopher Evans was out celebrating pride weekend with friends on June 30 before he went missing.
Evans, who friends say was straight, had spent Saturday night partying with a group of friends before he went missing in the early hours of the Sunday morning.
The group left Roscoe's Tavern (3556 N. Halsted) at approximately 1:30 a.m.
Evans, an Evergreen Park resident, seemed agitated, said a friend, who asked not to have his name used.
"The way he was acting was just not like him at all," said the friend. "He seemed like he was kind of concerned about something"
According to the friend, Evans walked away from the group after leaving Roscoe's and was last seen walking toward the lake along Roscoe.
"You turn your back on someone, and they just disappear," said the friend.
A press statement notes that Evans was wearing a black shirt and dark jeans. He is 6'1" 230 pounds. His cell phone has been off since he went missing.
Evans was enrolled in the M.B.A. program at Loyola University, where he also worked as a financial analyst in the Financial Services Office.
The night he went missing, he was with a group of both gay and straight friends.
A missing person's report was filed with police, according to a press statement. Friends are asking that anyone with information contact Area North Detectives at (312) 747-5789.
