CHICAGO ( June 30, 2015 ) — Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago ( 221 N. Columbus Drive ), launches new video series, "Love is Colorful, Make it Blu," celebrating the diversity of love. Part of an ongoing commitment the hotel has to the LGBT community, the video series follows three couples as they experience the hotel, and each share their take on what they find particularly unique about the hotel and their overall stay in Chicago. The trailer of the series was released via social media channels on Sunday, June 28, just in time for Chicago's Pride Parade. Additional videos will debut throughout the month of July.
"Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago, celebrates all love and is rooted in the acceptance that love is love," says Pierre-Louis Giacotto, general manager, Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago. "We understand that countless factors shape travel interests, so in lieu of a Pride package, we want to demonstrate different ways couples can experience our hotel. This video series is our way of expressing our warm embrace and genuine support for the LGBT community, and we invite all travelers to join us when experiencing Chicago."
Appearing first in the video is the recently engaged Precious Davis and Myles Brady, a transgender couple living in Chicago and making waves for the betterment of the transgender community. The couple was recently spotlighted in Miley Cyrus' Happy Hippie Foundation's InstaPride photoshoot series on Instagram, garnering over half a million impressions, where they shared their excitement for finally being able to get married, as well as some sage advice for finding inner peacethat is, to love yourself, and to respect your journey. Precious Davis worked as a youth health educator and prevention coordinator at the Center on Halsted, and now finds her activism coming to life at Columbia College Chicago, where she is the Assistant Director of Diversity Recruitment Initiatives. Myles Brady, a Chicago native from Hyde Park, is the Transgender Outreach Coordinator at the Howard Brown Health Center.
Another couple featured in the video series is Fausto Fernos and Marc Felion. Fausto and Marc host and produce the wildly popular "Feast of Fun," a daily talk show on news, trends, and interviews with the world's top LGBT movers and shakers. "Feast of Fun" is a five-time winner of the People's Choice Podcast Awards for "Best LGBT" podcast. Their new web series, "Cooking with Drag Queens," launched after a successful Kickstarter campaign and looks at the lives of fabulous drag queens as they participate in cooking demonstrations.
Finally, the third couple who stars in the video series is David Sanchez and Alan Harder. David Sanchez owns 10 MGMT, a modeling agency in Chicago, which represents models, artists, and talented content creators. His partner, Alan Harder, is a risk consultant and also serves on a number of LGBT organizations. Alan is the board director at Heartland Alliance, co-chair of the Chicago Council for Global LGBT Human Rights, and a board member of the Chicago Community Trust LGBT Fund.
The "Love is Colorful, Make it Blu" video series celebrates love, diversity, and inclusion, and features three LGBT couples as they experience Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago. To view the trailer, please visit https://youtu.be/M3sCNutyBrc.
