Equal Marriage NOW! is hosting a community forum on fighting the Illinois Family Institute's effort to place an anti-gay marriage referendum on the state ballot. The meeting will take place July 21 at John Merlo Public Library, 644 W. Belmont, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Speakers will include Rick Garcia of Equality Illinois, the Rev. Center on Halsted is partnering with the Art Institute of Chicago to privately preview Toulouse-Lautrec and Montmartre on July 13 at the Institute, 111 S. Michigan. 'GROOVE is in the heART,' an exhibition of new paintings by Erik R. Sosa, will be unveiled July 21 at Big City Swing Studio, 1012 W. Randolph, 7-10 p.m. A $5 donation at the door will benefit the AIDS Foundation of Chicago. The exhibition will run July 21 through Aug. 20.
