The Chicago Historical Society, The Center on Halsted, and the University of Chicago Lesbian and Gay Studies Project are sponsoring 'OUT at CHS,' a series of lectures and performances dealing with local and national LGBT history. Center on Halsted's Legal Services Program has expanded to include volunteer lawyers who provide free legal information and referrals to members of the LGBT community. GLSEN Chicago is hosting 'An Introduction to the Safe Zone Program,' Feb. 8, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Jones High School, 606 S. State. Equal Marriage NOW! will celebrate the one-year anniversary of San Francisco's Winter of Love with a special presentation on Feb. 12, 4-6 p.m., at Gerber/Hart Library, 1127 W. Granville. There will be a screening of Academy Award-winning filmmaker Debra Chasnoff's documentary One Wedding and a Revolution, which chronicles San Francisco's first same-sex wedding between longtime lesbian activists Del Martin and Phyllis Lyon, together for more than 51 years. Following the screening, local couple Lee Neubecker and David Greer will speak about the experience of being one of nearly 4,000 same-sex couples married in San Francisco between Feb. 12 and March 11, 2004. Test Positive Aware Network ( TPAN ) and Positively Aware have announced the arrival of the Ninth Annual HIV Drug Guide. Oak Park Library is hosting a film series entitled 'Seize the Day: Recent World Cinema.' The films are shown on Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. at 834 Lake Street. The movie being shown on Jan. 23 is Yossi & Jagger ( 2002 ) . In this work, directed by Eytan Fox, two male officers in the Israeli army fall in love while stationed at an outpost.
