Family matters: Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted, will present an LGBT alternative family-planning seminar Wed., June 24, 7-9 p.m. Moderator Richard Vaughn ( managing attorney at the National Fertility Law Center, and gay parent through surrogacy ) will lead an interactive conversation with several subject-matter experts, including LGBT adoption attorney Rosemary Mulryan. The test defense: The HIV Testing & Prevention Program of Center on Halsted will present a National HIV Testing Day seminar Wed., June 24, 8 a.m.-1 p.m, at the center, 3656 N. Halsted.
