Amdur Productions, Inc.—which produces eight of the summer's most successful, juried art festivals in the Chicago region each year—has announced the final call for entries from artists for the 2007 summer art festival season. All applications must be postmarked by Mon., Jan. 15 for consideration to be a featured artist at the fests that draw nearly 1 million art enthusiasts annually.
Some of the acclaimed art festivals are the Arlington Heights Promenade of Art ( June 2-3, Arlington Heights ) , the Cantigny Fine Art Festival and Fleece to Fiber ( June 16-17, Wheaton ) , the Lincolnshire Art Festival ( July 7-8, Lincolnshire ) , the Gold Coast River North Art Fair ( Aug. 3-5, Chicago ) and the Lake View East Fine Art Festival ( Sept. 8-9, Chicago ) .
Artists who wish to apply must submit four 35-millimeter slide images of work and one slide showing booth display. Again, the application deadline is Jan. 15. Entries will be judged by a prestigious group of art professionals in February.
