CHICAGO — Lips, the ultimate in drag dining, today announced they will celebrate two years on Chicago's iconic Motor Row with reimagined performances, a new show night and a dynamic new cast to deliver its one-of-a-kind glitz and glamour at 2229 S. Michigan Avenue.

Beginning Wednesday, August 11, Lips will kick off its weekly "Bitchy Bingo" show with new show host, Chicago's Batty Davis, followed by a packed weekend of show stopping performances from nationally recognized drag talent and Chicago drag legends Mimi Marks, Mz. Ruff N' Stuff, Shavonna B. Brooks and more. Coupled with a menu by Chicago chef Tom J. Schmitt and a variety of signature cocktails, Lips brings a dynamic combination of fresh and familiar made-up faces to deliver a unique, reimagined experience.

"After nearly 18 tumultuous months, we are back and better than ever! We're thrilled to

celebrate two years in Chicago with exciting additions to the show and cast, plus our brand-new Bitchy Bingo night on Wednesdays," said Yvonne Lamé, Lips founder. "At Lips locations across the country, we're seeing audiences champing at the bit to get back out and celebrate in record-breaking numbers, and we can't wait to bring this renewed party to Chicago. Guests may think they've seen everything at Lips, but that was just the beginning."

The grandest of Lips' five locations nationwide, Lips Chicago features a kaleidoscope of bejeweled mirrors, four eight-foot crystal chandeliers and sconces, pink leopard tufted walls, velvet curtains, a stage fit for a queen, a state-of-the-art sound system and club lighting. From Thursday's Dinner with the Divas to the showstopping Glitz & Glam shows on Friday and Saturday, each visit to lips serves an unforgettable evening of over-the-top entertainment.

Lips' talented queens not only serve up a great show — they also serve delicious salads, appetizers, entrees and desserts. Doubling as lively waitresses, the entertainers take orders and deliver meals with a special side of sass. Every audience member enjoys a front-row seat to the nightly show, which will include lip syncing, live vocals, bawdy humor, choreographed numbers and campy comedy.

The ideal place to celebrate any occasion, Lips caters to bachelorette parties, birthdays, anniversaries and even the occasional divorce celebration. Special guests of honor will enjoy time onstage with the performers and a commemorative photo.

Lips Chicago is now open at 2229 S. Michigan Avenue. With themed evening seatings Wednesday through Saturday plus the hottest ticket in town, Sunday's Gospel Brunch, Lips Chicago serves something for everyone. For more information on reservations and themes, visit www.lipschicago.com .
