The Love's in Need of Love Concert Nov. 21 at The Lighthouse Church of Chicago raised funds for the church and homeless LGBT youth.
The concert featured performances by inspirational singer, songwriter and arranger Clyde B. Easter, acclaimed local musician and teacher Rachael Weasley, Chicago recording artist Goza Parks, and award-winning music director, writer and performer Jesse Stanford, who also organized the event.
The church was founded in 2013 by Pastor Jamie Frazier with the goal of creating a church open to people of all races, sexual orientations and gender identities.
"We wanted the ministry to further our community outreach efforts," Stanford said. "Homeless LGBT youth need all the love they can get."
