Chicago-based lesbian comedian Whitney Chitwood will have a new album, The Bakery Case, out Friday, Oct. 18—and she will have a release show the previous night.

The release show will take place Thursday, Oct. 17, at The Newport Theater, 956 W. Newport Ave., at 8 p.m. Incidentally, the album ( courtesy of Stand Up! Records ) was recorded at The Green Mill, in Chicago.
