The members of the Chicago Leather Kennel Club ( CLKC ) recently adopted and ratified club by-laws at a meeting.

In a statement, CLKC co-founder Chuck Windemuth said in part that the by-laws 'provide us with a written document, a solid foundation [ and ] a clearly defined club purpose. ... The by-laws also provide great opportunities for club growth and program development.'

After ratification, the group elected new officers, who will serve two-year terms. They are Adrian Williams ( president ) , William 'Rubberwilli' Schendel ( vice-president ) , Bill Christiansen ( treasurer ) and Todd Davidson ( secretary ) .

Among the activities the club has planned is attending Folsom Fringe 2007, a BDSM event, in San Jose, Calif., on Sept. 28-30.
