Today host Matt Lauer has denied having an affair with singer Alexis Houston, who used to be a man named Wellington Houston, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Vanity Fair reported that Houston herself held a press conference outside NBC Studios in New York to deny the affair, saying, "I feel that my privacy and personal space have been invaded." Singer Whitney Houston once sued Alexis because the latter claimed to be the former's cousin.

Lady Gaga has revealed on Larry King's show that she has tested "borderline positive" for lupus, according to People.com . She added on the program, which aired June 1, that she was OK but she has "to take good care of" herself. The pop singer also revealed that her aunt Joanne died of lupus, a chronic inflammatory disease in which the body's immune system attacks a person's tissues and organs.

Speaking of Gaga, she has stirred controversy in England by staging a blood-splattered show hours after a local cab driver shot and killed 12 people, the New York Daily News reported. Fans and parents protested the "Paparazzi" singer's concert in Manchester June 2 after she did a skit in which a killer bit her neck and left her covered in ( fake ) blood. Derrick Bird went on a shooting rampage, killing 12 people and then turning the gun on himself. Gaga has performed the routine several time during her tour.

Glee co-star Jane Lynch has married her girlfriend. According to US Magazine, Lynch got hitched to psychiatrist Lara Embry May 21 in Sutherland, Mass., at the Blue Heron restaurant. Twenty-one guests attended the 20-minute ceremony, which was held on the restaurant's patio. Lynch wore a cream wrap blouse and black slacks, while Embry had on a cream-and-black cocktail-length dress.

Nick Cannon, the husband of singer/gay icon Mariah Carey, is dealing with his wife's pregnancy rumors—somewhat. According to People.com, Cannon took to Twitter to say, "If & when my wife is ready to make ANY announcements about private matters she will do it personally." Carey recently dropped out of making the Tyler Perry movie For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf.

California District Court Judge Dale Fischer has issued a preliminary injunction stopping the U.S. release of the Jim Carrey-Ewan McGregor movie I Love You Phillip Morris, according to ABC News. French movie studio EuropaCorp claimed that distributor Consolidated Pictures Group never paid the $3 million advance the two companies had agreed to last year. The case is now headed to arbitration. The comedy stars Carrey has a married man who discovers he's gay and embarks upon a crime spress that lands him in prison, where he falls in love with McGregor.

Fran Drescher—best known for her lead role on the TV series The Nanny—has revealed that she was married to a gay man for more than two decades, although she was not aware of his sexual orientation, according to Zap2It.com . Drescher and Peter Marc Jacobson were high school sweethearts and married in 1978, a union that lasted 21 years. Two years after they divorced in 1999, he came out to her; she said that they'll still "the best of friends."

Model/actress Olivia Munn is "upset" that gays and lesbians cannot marry all over the United States, according to DigitalJournal.com . Munn—who has been in Date Night and Iron Man 2—said, "It's ridiculous, and I'm really upset that Obama, as a black man, and all the things that African Americans have gone through after being oppressed, has said 'you're less than' and cannot stand up and say marriage is a union between two individuals who love each other."

The TV series Glee will go on a religious bent next season, according to Advocate.com . Gay character Kurt—played by Chris Colfer—will have to confront a Christian character who objects to Kurt's sexuality. The female character, who has not been named, will also be offended by some of the group's performances. Glee creator Ryan Murphy said, "If we're trying to form a world of inclusiveness, we've got to to include that point of view as well."

Actress Kristen Stewart ( Twilight, Eclipse, The Runaways ) has apologized for comparing the experience of being photographed by the paparazzi to being raped, according to EW.com . She made the statement in the British version of Elle magazine. However, she later told People, "I really made an enormous mistake—clearly and obviously,. And I'm really sorry about my choice of words. 'Violated' definitely would have been a better way of expressing the thought." She added, "People thinking that I'm insensitive about this subject rips my guts out. I made a big mistake."

Actor Zachary Quinto—known for his roles in the movie Star Trek as well as the TV series Heroes and So Notorious—will portray Louis Ironson in the off-Broadway revival of Tony Kushner's Angels in America, according to the New York Times. The play, set in the 1980s and focusing on the AIDS crisis, is presented in two parts: Millennium Approaches and Perestroika. The two parts of "Angels"—which will co-star Billy Porter as nurse/ex-drag queen Belize—will run in repertory at the Signature Theatre Company Sept. 14-Dec. 19.

Singer Miley Cyrus is insisting that she did not kiss a girl when she performed on the English show Britain's Got Talent, according to Orange News. Cyrus, 17, was invited to perform her new single, "Can't Be Tamed" in front of show creator Simon Cowell and judge Piers Morgan. Cyrus surprised viewers by singing in a skimpy outfit and supposedly kissing a female dancer. On her official blog, she posted, "promise you I did not kiss her and it is ridiculous that two entertainers can't even rock out with each other without the media making it some type of story. I really hope my fans are not disappointed in me because the truth is I did nothing wrong."

Cheyenne Jackson, Kylie Minogue and Cyndi Lauper were among the celebrities who attended the amfAR Inspiration Gala June 3, which honored fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier and now-out singer Ricky Martin, according to Advocate.com . While accepting the award, Martin spoke about an HIV-positive Cambodian girl he met in 2008 while campaigning against human trafficking: "This award is for her. This award, I'm going to take to Cambodia again. I'm going to give it to her." In his speech, Gaultier said that the condom was the best outfit from the last century. The sold-out gala, which took place in New York City, was the first of three such events; others will be held in Paris and Los Angeles.

Conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh paid Sir Elton John $1 million to perform at his June 5 wedding, according to a TodayShow.com item. Limbaugh, 59, married Kathryn Rogers, 33, in Palm Beach, Fla.; guests at the event included Bush advisor Karl Rove and ex-New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. It was the fourth wedding for Limbaugh, an outspoken opponent of same-sex marriage.
