LGBT Hall of Fame bowling fundraiser on April 4 UPDATE

The Chicago LGBT Hall of Fame, now entering its 30th year, announced that it will hold its annual fundraising event—the Dick Uyvari Memorial Celebrity Bowl—Saturday, April 4, at Waveland Bowl, 3700 N. Western Ave.

Registration will begin at 10 a.m., and bowling will take place 11 a.m.-noon. Bowlers have been gathering pledges and all monies raised will be used to help support the work of the Chicago LGBT Hall of Fame.

The event is held in honor of the late Dick Uyvari, a Chicago LGBT Hall of Fame member who was a community activist and philanthropist.
