I never thought I would live to see the day when a pope would endorse civil rights for LGBTQ couples. Praise God for His Grace.
Also, the many Roman Catholic individuals and organizations who worked so hard to get us to this point should not be dismissed. We stand on the shoulders of many good nuns, brothers, priests, and laypeople.
This is huge. Pope Francis has sided with Jesus Christ in the matter of compassion, love, justice, charity and reason.
