This story has been updated; Kokumo has reportedly been found and she is safe.
Transgender artist-performer Kokumo Kinetic has been found after she was reported missing June 20.
Kinetic, who is based in Chicago, had last been seen in a Baltimore, Maryland, Motel 6 on June 19, when she reportedly seemed "confused," said commentator TransGriot on her Facebook page.
The Baltimore chapter of the organization Black Transmen, Inc. ( BTMI ) coordinated the search for Kinetic, and asked that anyone who might have knowledge of her whereabouts contact them at ( 855 ) 255-8636, ext. 51.
A native of Chicago's South Side, Kinetic was selected as one of Windy City Times' 30 Under 30 in 2011. She also was a speaker and performer at the March on Springfield for Marriage Equality, and a key force behind T.G.I.F. in Chicago.
