True Blood co-star Ryan Kwanten's womanizing character, Jason Stackhouse, may come out as gay when HBO debuts the fourth season of the creature drama June 26, according to On Top Magazine. Speculation over Kwanten's own sexual orientation rose when a BlindGossip.com post asked, "What HBO star is going to be coming out of the closet soon?" Perez Hilton then wrote that Kwanten himself is gay.

Two men have been arrested for allegedly plotting the murder of British singer Joss Stone, 24, according to MTV.com . The suspects, ages 30 and 33, were apprehended after people saw a suspicious vehicle near her home; the men were reportedly going to kill and rob the singer. Authorities reportedly found swords, forensic-style overalls, plans of Stone's house and a body bag in the suspects' vehicle. Stone, one of the wealthiest pop stars in England, is releasing a new CD, LP1, in July.

Rapper Tyler, the Creator, said that his gay fans are not offended by his repeated use of the word "faggot," according to MTV.com . Fader magazine analyzed Tyler's CD, Goblin, and counted 68 uses of the word "bitch" as well as nine variations of "fag" or "faggot." Tyler said, "Well, I have gay fans and they don't really take it offensive, so I don't know. If it offends you, it offends you."

The meat dress Lady Gaga wore to last year's MTV Video Music Awards will be housed in Cleveland's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, according to CNN.com . The frock will be part of the museum's "Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power" exhibit. The interactive exhibition—which runs through Feb. 26, 2012—highlights more than 70 artists and fills two entire floors of the museum.

In a recent interview with the National Organization for Marriage, former New York Giants wide receiver David Tyree criticized the marriage-equality movement, according to the Sporting News. In part, Tyree said, "If they pass this gay marriage bill ... this will be the beginning of our country sliding toward—it's a strong word—... anarchy." His views contradict the perspectives of several sports figures—including that of NBA executive Rick Welts, who recently came out of the closet. He has lobbied against New York's proposed marriage-equality bill, according to Advocate.com .

Comedian Joan Rivers said that Tracy Morgan should not have apologized for his recent anti-gay rant during a comedy show, according to an Advocate.com item. Rivers told The Daily Beast, "He should apologize. Gay fans? What are they doing seeing him anyhow? Why aren't they watching me and Kathy Griffin? What are they doing at this show?" Then she laughed and said, "He's lost his gay fan." However, she added that it's good that Morgan will meet with gay youth "[b]ecause there are people even dumber than Tracy Morgan, who look up to Tracy Morgan as an ignorant role model."

Speaking of anti-gay comedy, comedian Jo Koy has apologized after an anti-gay rant at a show he performed as part of Chicago's Just for Laughs comedy festival. Koy posted on his website, "I sincerely apologize for the incredibly foul word I chose to use on stage last night in Chicago. ... I'm truly saddened if I offended anyone with my poor choice of words, particularly the gay community. Homophobia is not funny." During Koy's show, his zipper became undone. One male voice yelled, "I saw it"—to which Koy replied, "What are you looking at, fucking faggot?"

Out figure skater Johnny Weir snapped at anti-gay protesters when he served as grand marshal of the Los Angeles Gay Pride Parade June 12, according to RumorFix.com . Weir scolded the protesters who held up signs that said things like "God Hates Fags." The skating champ asked the protesters, "Isn't Sunday, God's day? Why aren't you in church?" Last year, grand marshals Sharon and Kelly Osbourne confronted anti-gay activists at the same parade.

Will & Grace director James Burrows said in an interview that the long-running sitcom allowed viewers to become more at ease with gay characters on TV, according to the Canadian Press. The show, which ran from 1998 to 2006, featured two gay characters: straitlaced attorney Will Truman (played by actor Eric McCormack) and his friend, Jack McFarland (portrayed by Sean Hayes). Burrows, 70, added, "That was the great thing on Will & Grace. We got away with a stereotypical gay character, Jack, because Will was so centered. That was the genius of that show."

Controversial singer Amy Winehouse has canceled her entire tour, according to Reuters. The "Rehab" singer—whose career has been dotted with incidents of alcohol and drug abuse—was recently jeered by fans in Serbia after a poor performance. Winehouse, 27, struggled to perform her songs and even keep her balance during the show. A few weeks ago, she checked out of a rehab clinic (after a week's stay) and said she was looking forward to the tour.

Film star Debbie Reynolds sold nearly 600 Hollywood costumes and props at an auction in Los Angeles—garnering a total of $22.8 million, The white dress that Marilyn Monroe wore in the movie The Seven Year Itch fetched a record $4.6 million at a film-memorabilia auction, according to a Yahoo! News item. Also, the outfit worn by Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady's Ascot race scene drew a bid of $3.7 million. More items are slated to be auctioned in December.

A former aide to U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is a hardcore Las Vegas porn star, according to the New York Post. Sammie Spades, 24, was known as Samantha Koithan when she worked for then-Sen. Clinton back in 2006. She bumped into Clinton while attending community college and thought she might want to work in politics, so Clinton gave Spades a summer internship. Afterwards, Spades married an aspiring rock singer and moved to Vegas.

Parody musician Weird Al Yankovic has now taken on Lady Gaga. According to NBCLosAngeles.com, Yankovic has made a video of his song "Perform This Way," a take on Gaga's "Born This Way." The video shows him spoofing all of Gaga's famous looks—including the meat dress she wore at an awards show last year—with his head superimposed on a woman's body. He also jab's at Gaga's originality, saying, "I'm so completely original. My new look is all the rage!" as he wears a gold cone bra and a Madonna look-alike appears. Proceeds from the song and video go to the Human Rights Campaign, EW.com reported.

Modern Family and American Idol were among the winners at the inaugural Critics' Choice Television Awards, according to Deadline.com . Among the other winners were Hoarders and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (a tie for best reality series); actor Neil Patrick Harris (Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for How I Met Your Mother); Jim Parsons (Best Actor in a Comedy Series for The Big Bang Theory); and Julianna Margulies (Best Actress in a Drama Series for The Good Wife).

Hip-hop musician 50 Cent is writing a novel with an anti-bullying theme, according to Business Week. The Penguin Young Reader Group has signed up 50's novel, Playground. The publisher announced that the book is a semi-autobiographical young adult novel about bullying that will come out next January.

Out Bravo exec Andy Cohen is reportedly one of three candidates who may permanently replace Regis Philbin on the daytime syndicated show Live! With Regis and Kelly, according to Deadline.com . The other two candidates are American Idol host Ryan Seacrest and co-host Kelly Ripa's husband, Mark Consuelos. The article goes with Consuelos as the most obvious choice; Seacrest already earns $55 million annually from Idol and his radio show, among other things.

Many celebrities have joined Bruce Springsteen in offering tributes to the late E Street Band saxophone player Clarence Clemons. According to Digital Spy, Janet Jackson tweeted, "Clarence Clemons was a wonderful talent. He will be on my mind tonight." Also, Coldplay, described Clemons as their "favorite saxophone player." Clemons, 69—who died of a stroke—last appeared in Lady Gaga's "The Edge of Glory" video, and provided music on her songs "Hair" and "Highway Unicorn," Idolator.com reported.

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) met with Tracy Morgan as well as local gay and transgender residents of Tennessee at the Nashville Convention Center, according to a press release. Morgan also addressed members of the press and spoke out in support of LGBT equality. Morgan said, "I apologize to Kevin and people that were at the show. I want to apologize to my friends, and my family and my fans and everyone in every community who were offended with this. I didn't know. I didn't mean it…" "Tracy's remarks today have the power to reach millions with a message that gay and transgender youth should be met with support from families—not rejection or violence," said Herndon Graddick, senior director of programs at GLAAD.

Vicci Martinez, a lesbian contestant on the NBC show The Voice, said that mentor Cee-Lo Green apologized to her after he sent out an anti-gay tweet recently, Advocate.com reported. After Green performed with Rihanna in Minneapolis, he tweeted displeased music critic Andrea Swenson—a woman Green thought was a gay male. Green posted, "People enjoyed last night! I'm guessing you're gay? And my masculinity offended you? Well f*** you!" Martinez said that Green reached out to her and gay contestant Nakia to apologize.
