1. Got a gala you want the world to know about? If you have a GLBT-related happening that needs publicity, look no further than GLBTEvents.com . This new site currently allows you to send info for events occurring through the end of 2002. ( A quick scan shows info for everything from the Barcelona Gay & Lesbian Film Festival to Sisterspace Weekend. ) Once you submit your item, it's instantly placed in the calendar and event listing.
2. The QV Magazine site ( www.qvmagazine.com ) , as you might guess, is there to promote the gay Latino male mag QV. Not only can you find photos of some incredibly hot Latino men, but you can read interviews with celebrities ( such as Victor Calderone ) , advice columns ( Dear Papi ) , and even get a list of gay Latino clubs across the nation. And to answer your question-- yes, Virginia, there is a personals page.
3. Continuing along the magazine path, Whosoever ( www.whosoever.org ) is a webzine for gay, lesbian, and bisexual Christians-- which is basically run by one woman, Candace Chellew. The site includes FAQs, including how to respond to those ignoramuses who spout "It's Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve!" You'll also find a bookstore, a prayer request, articles on fear and those sad ex-gay ministries, and a letter to those who think gay Christians will fry in hell like pork chops.
