The International Vintage Poster Fair, the world's oldest and largest sale and exposition of original vintage posters, took place March 28-30 at the Chicago Cultural Center

Thousands of posters, dated from the 1890s-1980s, were on display and available for purchase throughout the weekend. Exhibitors from Belgium, France, Great Britain, Switzerland and the United States attended at the event. Styles include the popular Art Deco and Modernism posters as well as classic Art Nouveau, Victorian images and more.

Aside from the beauty of the items, vendor Michel Graglia—whose gallery is based in Beaune, France—described to Windy City Times the allure: "The posters, simply put, tell a story."

For more information on the posters and exhibitors, see www.posterfair.com .
